Frequently Asked Questions

Everything researchers commonly ask us, answered in one place.

🛡 Are products independently tested?

Janoshik HPLC verification on every batch

Yes. Every batch is independently tested using HPLC analysis.

All Epithalon supplied is verified by Janoshik Analytical, an independent peptide-analysis laboratory based in the Czech Republic. Reported purity results consistently exceed 99%.

When a Janoshik report is available for the current batch, a printed Certificate of Analysis (COA) is included with the order. If the report is not included, the batch verification record is published on our Purity page.

Each COA contains a unique verification key that can be authenticated through Janoshik’s own verification system, allowing researchers to confirm results independently.

💧 Reconstitution Guide

Preparing BAC water with lyophilised powder

Four simple steps:

1. Clean the vial
Use an alcohol prep wipe to clean the vial stopper and allow it to dry.

2. Draw bacteriostatic water
Using an insulin syringe, draw 2 mL of BAC water.

3. Add slowly to the vial
Inject the BAC water carefully down the inside wall of the vial. Avoid applying liquid directly onto the powder.

4. Dissolve gently
Swirl the vial until the powder has fully dissolved. Do not shake. Allow approximately 30 seconds before refrigerating.

For future reference, use the reconstitution guide included inside the packaging.

💉 Pen Guide

Dial settings, priming and operation

Preparing the pen

Attach a new needle
Clean the pen tip using an alcohol wipe and attach a fresh sterile needle.

Prime before use
Dial one click, hold the pen with the needle pointing upward, and press the dose button. A small droplet at the needle tip confirms successful priming and removal of air.

Select the research setting
Each dial click represents a fixed increment depending on calibration. The display shows the total selected amount.

Example: a 6 mg research setting may require approximately 6–12 clicks depending on calibration.

Follow routes described in published research
Published research protocols describe subcutaneous administration sites including the abdomen, thigh, and upper arm.

After use

  • Dispose of the needle safely in a sharps container.
  • Replace the pen cap.
  • Return the pen to refrigerated storage.

Each pen provides the number of uses shown for the selected size. When empty, replace the cartridge while continuing to use the same pen body.

Research use only. Procedures are based on published research protocols and do not represent medical or human-use guidance.
