A cyclic 9-amino-acid neuropeptide with a disulfide bridge. Canonical reference peptide for social bonding, reproductive and CNS research.
Find answers to the questions researchers ask us most, all in one place.
Yes. Every batch is verified by Janoshik using HPLC analysis.
All products supplied by us undergo independent HPLC purity testing through Janoshik Analytical, an independent peptide testing laboratory based in the Czech Republic. The laboratory is not affiliated with our company, and batch purity is consistently reported at over 99%.
Where a Certificate of Analysis (COA) has been issued for the current production batch, a printed copy is included with your order. If a printed report is unavailable, the corresponding verification can be found on our Purity page.
Each COA includes a unique verification code that can be checked directly through Janoshik’s online verification portal, allowing researchers to independently confirm the report. We also provide a public guide explaining how to interpret Janoshik HPLC reports.
For future reference, the reconstitution guide is printed inside the lid of your presentation box.
Clean the pen tip with an alcohol wipe before attaching a new sterile needle from the kit.
Turn the dial one click, hold the pen with the needle pointing upwards, and press the injection button. A small droplet at the needle tip confirms the pen is primed and any trapped air has been expelled.
Rotate the dial until your desired research dose is displayed. Depending on calibration, each click typically represents 0.5-1 mg, with the display showing the total selected dose.
For example, a 6 mg research dose generally corresponds to approximately 6-12 clicks.
Published research protocols commonly describe subcutaneous administration into the abdomen, thigh or upper arm. Hold the pen in place for approximately six seconds before withdrawing.
Dispose of the used needle safely, replace the cap and return the pen to refrigerated storage.
Each pen provides the number of doses shown in the protocol guide for your selected strength. Once empty, simply insert a replacement cartridge into the existing pen body. Current refill pricing is available in the calculator above.

Published studies involving Oxytocin commonly describe subcutaneous administration into the abdomen, thigh or upper arm. Research protocols generally recommend rotating administration sites to reduce local tissue irritation.

The simplest approach is to follow the protocol guide above. Published Oxytocin studies commonly employ a gradual titration schedule, beginning with the lowest phase before progressing at predetermined intervals. The highlighted maintenance phase reflects the dosing used by many published research cohorts.
Researchers beginning work with this compound should complete Phase 1 before progressing to the next stage. Following the published titration schedule mirrors the methodology described in the scientific literature.
Researchers already familiar with Oxytocin can select the appropriate protocol phase to view estimated costs and product duration based on their chosen vial or pen size.
If your laboratory is following a bespoke protocol, contact us before ordering and we’ll help identify the most suitable product size for your research schedule.

Oxytocin is a synthetic cyclic peptide comprising nine amino acids. Scientific literature characterises it as an agonist of the oxytocin receptor (OXTR). It is supplied as a lyophilised powder intended exclusively for in-vitro laboratory research.
The description above summarises published scientific literature and should not be interpreted as a claim regarding effects in humans.
Oxytocin is supplied as a freeze-dried powder in a sealed glass vial.
For laboratory preparation:
Our Reconstitution Volume Calculator can be used to determine the resulting concentration (mg/mL).
| State | Storage Temperature | Typical Shelf Life |
| Lyophilised | 2-8°C or -20°C | Up to 24 months |
| Reconstituted | 2-8°C | Approximately 4-6 weeks |
Every Oxytocin batch supplied by us undergoes independent HPLC analysis by Janoshik Analytical. When available, the accompanying Certificate of Analysis includes a unique verification code that can be authenticated directly through Janoshik’s records. Reported batch purity consistently exceeds 99%.
