Frequently Asked Questions

The answers researchers ask us for most often

Everything you need to know before placing an order, all in one place.

🛡 Is every product purity tested?

Absolutely. Every batch we supply is independently analysed using HPLC by Janoshik Analytical, an independent Czech laboratory specialising in peptide testing. Reported purity consistently exceeds 99%.

Where a Certificate of Analysis (COA) has been issued for the current production batch, a printed copy is included with your order. If not, the batch verification is available on our Purity page.

Each COA contains a unique verification code that can be checked directly through Janoshik’s online verification system, allowing you to independently confirm the results.

We also provide a detailed guide explaining how to interpret Janoshik HPLC reports, making it easier to understand the data provided.

💧 Reconstituting your peptide with BAC water

Follow these four simple steps:

1. Clean the vial
Disinfect the tops of both vials using one of the supplied alcohol wipes and allow them to dry completely.

2. Withdraw BAC water
Using a sterile insulin syringe, draw 2 mL of bacteriostatic water from the BAC water vial.

3. Add the diluent carefully
Inject the BAC water slowly against the inside wall of the peptide vial rather than directly onto the lyophilised powder.

4. Dissolve the powder
Gently swirl the vial until fully dissolved. Do not shake. Leave the solution for around 30 seconds before refrigerating.

For future reference, use the reconstitution guide printed inside the box lid.

💉 Using the dosing pen

Attach a new needle
Clean the pen tip with an alcohol wipe before securely fitting a fresh sterile needle.

Prime the pen
Rotate the dial by one click, point the pen upward and press the injection button. A small droplet at the needle tip confirms successful priming and air removal.

Select the required research amount
Each click delivers a fixed increment according to the pen’s calibration, generally between 0.5 mg and 1 mg per click. The viewing window displays the selected amount.

Administration used in published research
Published research protocols commonly describe subcutaneous administration in the abdomen, thigh or upper arm. Hold the pen in position for approximately six seconds before removing it.

After use
Dispose of the needle safely in a sharps container, replace the pen cap and return the pen to refrigerated storage.

Each refill provides the number of research doses shown in the protocol guide. Once empty, simply replace the cartridge while continuing to use the same pen body.

❄ Storage recommendations

Lyophilised powder
Store sealed vials at 2–8°C, protected from light. Under these conditions the product remains stable for 24 months or longer. Do not freeze.

After reconstitution
Store refrigerated at 2–8°C in the original glass vial. Avoid shaking the solution. Discard if it becomes cloudy, discoloured or contains visible particles. Typical storage time is approximately 30 days.

BAC water
Once opened, refrigerate and use within 30 days.

📍 Administration route in published research

Published scientific literature investigating DSIP commonly describes subcutaneous administration in areas including the abdomen, thigh and upper arm. Researchers generally rotate injection sites throughout a study to minimise repeated local tissue stress.

This information is provided solely for scientific context based on published literature. It should not be interpreted as dosing instructions or medical guidance.

🎯 What research dose should I choose?

The simplest approach is to follow the published research protocol.

Studies involving DSIP generally use a gradual titration schedule, beginning with lower amounts before progressing at predefined intervals. The highlighted phase within the protocol typically represents the maintenance stage adopted by many published research cohorts.

Researchers beginning work with this compound usually start at the initial phase before advancing according to the protocol. Gradual titration is commonly employed within study designs.

If you already have an established research protocol, select the appropriate phase to view the corresponding vial or pen requirements, pricing and expected duration.

For bespoke research schedules, contact our team before ordering. We can help determine the most suitable product size based on your planned study design.

Research Profile

  • Synthetic nine-amino-acid neuropeptide
  • Investigated in delta-wave and EEG research
  • Independently HPLC purity tested
  • Intended exclusively for laboratory research

DSIP (Delta Sleep-Inducing Peptide) is a synthetic neuropeptide consisting of nine amino acids. Published research has examined its relationship with delta-wave electroencephalographic activity in experimental models. It is supplied as a lyophilised powder for laboratory and in-vitro research applications only.

Descriptions of the compound are based on published scientific literature and are provided for informational purposes. They should not be interpreted as claims regarding effects in humans.

Laboratory Handling

DSIP is supplied as a freeze-dried powder in a sealed glass vial.

For laboratory preparation, slowly introduce the required volume of bacteriostatic water or another suitable laboratory diluent along the inner wall of the vial. Mix gently by swirling until the powder has completely dissolved. Avoid vigorous shaking or vortex mixing.

Prepared solutions should be stored at 2–8°C, protected from light, and are typically suitable for use over 4–6 weeks under appropriate laboratory storage conditions.

A reconstitution calculator can be used to determine the resulting concentration (mg/mL).

State Storage Temperature Typical Shelf Life
Lyophilised 2–8°C or -20°C Up to 24 months
Reconstituted 2–8°C Approximately 4–6 weeks

Purity & Batch Verification

Every batch of DSIP undergoes independent HPLC testing by Janoshik Analytical before being supplied.

Where available, a Certificate of Analysis accompanies each order. Every certificate includes a unique verification code that can be authenticated directly through Janoshik’s verification platform. Reported purity consistently exceeds 99%.
