A cyclic 7-amino-acid heptapeptide melanocortin agonist with selectivity towards MC4R / MC3R relative to MC1R.
Answers to the questions researchers contact us about most often, all in one place.
Yes. Every batch is independently verified using HPLC analysis.
All PT-141 (Bremelanotide) supplied is tested by Janoshik Analytical, an independent peptide-analysis laboratory based in the Czech Republic. Reported purity results consistently exceed 99%.
Where a current batch report is available, a printed Certificate of Analysis (COA) is supplied with the order. If a report is not included, batch verification details are published through our Purity page.
Every COA contains a unique verification key that can be validated through Janoshik’s own portal, allowing researchers to independently confirm testing information.
1. Clean the vial stopper
Use an alcohol prep wipe to clean the vial top and allow it to dry.
2. Draw bacteriostatic water
Using an insulin syringe, draw 2 mL of BAC water.
3. Add slowly to the vial
Inject the solution carefully down the inside wall of the vial. Avoid directing liquid directly onto the powder.
4. Dissolve gently
Swirl carefully until completely dissolved. Do not shake. Allow approximately 30 seconds before refrigerating.
Use the included reconstitution guide inside the packaging for future reference.
Attach a fresh needle
Clean the pen tip using an alcohol wipe and attach a new sterile needle.
Prime the pen
Dial one click, hold the pen with the needle facing upward, and press the dose button. A small droplet at the needle tip confirms successful priming and removal of air.
Set the research amount
Each dial click represents a fixed increment according to pen calibration. The display indicates the selected amount.
Example: a 6 mg research setting may correspond to approximately 6–12 clicks depending on calibration.
Follow routes described in published research
Published research protocols describe subcutaneous administration sites including the abdomen, thigh, and upper arm.
After use
Each pen provides the number of uses listed for the selected size. When empty, replace the cartridge while continuing to use the same pen body.
Research use only. Procedures are described from published research protocols and do not constitute medical or human-use guidance.
Published PT-141 (Bremelanotide) research describes subcutaneous administration routes, including sites such as the abdomen, thigh, and upper arm in pharmacokinetic and clinical research settings.
Research protocols commonly rotate administration locations to minimise repeated local tissue stress.
This information is provided solely as scientific context from peer-reviewed literature. We do not provide medical advice, human-use guidance, or administration protocols.
