Frequently Asked Questions

The answers to the questions researchers contact us about most often, all available in one place.

🛡 Are products batch tested?

Yes. Every batch is independently verified through Janoshik HPLC analysis.

All Thymosin Alpha-1 batches supplied are tested by Janoshik Analytical, an independent peptide-analysis laboratory based in the Czech Republic. Reported purity results consistently exceed 99%.

When a Janoshik analytical report is available for the current production batch, a printed Certificate of Analysis (COA) is included with the order. If a report is not included directly, the verification record is published on our Purity page.

Every COA contains a unique verification reference that can be independently authenticated through Janoshik’s verification system, allowing researchers to confirm testing results directly.

💧 Reconstitution Guide

Mixing bacteriostatic water with lyophilised powder

Four preparation steps:

1. Clean the vial stopper
Use an alcohol prep wipe supplied with the kit and allow the surface to dry fully.

2. Draw bacteriostatic water
Using an insulin syringe, draw 2 mL of BAC water and insert the needle through the rubber stopper.

3. Add slowly to the vial
Introduce the BAC water gradually down the inside wall of the vial. Avoid spraying directly onto the powder.

4. Dissolve carefully
Gently swirl until the powder has dissolved completely. Do not shake. Allow around 30 seconds for full dissolution before refrigerating.

Use the reconstitution card inside the packaging as a quick reference guide.

💉 Pen Guide

Dial settings, priming and preparation

Preparing the pen

Attach a new needle
Clean the pen tip using an alcohol wipe, then attach a fresh sterile needle from the supplied packaging.

Prime the pen
Turn the dial by one click, hold the pen with the needle pointing upwards, and press the dose button. A small droplet appearing at the needle tip confirms priming and removes trapped air.

Set the research amount
Each dial click represents a fixed increment according to the pen calibration. The display window shows the total selected amount.

For example, a 6 mg research setting may require approximately 6–12 clicks depending on calibration.

Follow the route described in published research
Published study protocols describe subcutaneous administration sites including the abdomen, thigh, and upper arm. Hold the pen in position for several seconds before removal.

After use

  • Dispose of the needle in an appropriate sharps container.
  • Replace the pen cap.
  • Return the pen to refrigerated storage.

Each pen provides the number of uses shown in the relevant protocol information for the selected size. Once empty, replace the cartridge while continuing to use the same pen body.

Research use only. Procedures are described from published research protocols and do not represent medical or human-use guidance.
