Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to the questions researchers ask us most often.

🛡 Is every batch tested?

Yes. Every batch undergoes independent HPLC purity testing.

All products are analysed by Janoshik Analytical, an independent peptide testing laboratory based in the Czech Republic. Every batch is verified for purity, with results consistently exceeding 99% HPLC purity.

When a Certificate of Analysis (COA) is available for your batch, a printed copy is included with your order. If the latest report is still pending, the verification details are published on our Purity page.

Each COA includes a unique verification code that can be confirmed directly through Janoshik’s official verification portal, providing independent proof of authenticity.

💧 Reconstituting with Bacteriostatic Water

Four simple steps

  1. Clean the vial. Wipe the rubber stopper using an alcohol swab and allow it to dry completely.
  2. Draw the diluent. Fill an insulin syringe with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water.
  3. Add slowly. Inject the water gently against the inside wall of the peptide vial rather than directly onto the powder.
  4. Mix carefully. Swirl the vial until dissolved. Avoid shaking. Allow approximately 30 seconds before refrigerating.

For future reference, use the reconstitution guide included inside the box.

💉 Pen Instructions

Preparing and using the pen

  • Attach a new sterile needle after cleaning the pen tip with an alcohol wipe.
  • Prime the pen by dialing one click, pointing the needle upward, and pressing the button until a small droplet appears.
  • Set the required research dose using the dose dial. Each click delivers a fixed amount depending on the pen calibration.
  • Administer according to the route described in published research protocols. Hold the pen in place for several seconds before removing it.
  • Remove and dispose of the used needle safely, replace the pen cap, and refrigerate the pen.

Each refill cartridge provides the number of doses listed in the protocol guide. Once empty, simply replace the cartridge while continuing to use the same pen body.

❄ Storage Guidelines

Lyophilised Powder

  • Store sealed between 2–8°C.
  • Protect from light.
  • Stable for up to 24 months.
  • Do not freeze.

After Reconstitution

  • Refrigerate at 2–8°C.
  • Recommended use within approximately 30 days.
  • Keep in the original vial.
  • Do not shake.
  • Discard if the solution becomes cloudy or changes colour.

Bacteriostatic Water

  • Refrigerate after opening.
  • Use within 30 days.

📍 Route Used in Published Research

Published studies involving glutathione have commonly used subcutaneous administration, typically into the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm. Research protocols generally rotate injection sites to minimise local tissue irritation.

This information is presented for scientific reference only and should not be interpreted as guidance for human use.

🎯 Research Dosing Overview

Published glutathione studies generally follow a titration schedule, beginning with a lower amount before gradually increasing over time. Most research protocols stabilise at the maintenance phase after this gradual escalation.

Researchers beginning a new protocol typically complete the initial phase before progressing to the next stage, as gradual titration has been associated with improved protocol tolerability in published literature.

For non-standard laboratory protocols, researchers may wish to determine the most suitable vial or pen size based on their planned study schedule.

Research Summary

Glutathione (γ-L-glutamyl-L-cysteinyl-glycine) is a naturally occurring tripeptide recognised throughout the scientific literature as the body’s primary intracellular antioxidant. It plays an important role in maintaining cellular redox balance and is widely investigated across longevity, oxidative stress, and metabolic research.

The compound supplied is provided as a lyophilised powder intended exclusively for laboratory and in-vitro research applications.

Descriptions above summarise published scientific literature and should not be interpreted as claims regarding therapeutic effects in humans.

Laboratory Handling

The peptide is supplied freeze-dried in a sealed glass vial.

For reconstitution:

  • Add the required volume of bacteriostatic water slowly along the inside wall of the vial.
  • Swirl gently until fully dissolved.
  • Avoid vigorous shaking or vortexing.
  • Refrigerate the prepared solution between 2–8°C.
  • Typical laboratory use recommends the solution be used within 4–6 weeks after preparation.

A reconstitution calculator may be used to determine the final concentration (mg/mL) based on the volume of diluent added.

State Storage Temperature Typical Stability
Lyophilised 2–8°C or −20°C Up to 24 months
Reconstituted 2–8°C Approximately 4–6 weeks

Purity Verification

Each batch undergoes independent HPLC analysis by Janoshik Analytical before release.

Where available, a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis accompanies the order and includes a unique verification code that can be checked directly against Janoshik’s records.

Testing consistently demonstrates purity levels above 99%.
