Frequently Asked Questions

Find quick answers to the questions researchers ask us most often.

🛡 Are your products independently tested?

Yes. Every batch is verified using HPLC analysis by Janoshik Analytical.

Every product we supply undergoes independent purity testing by Janoshik Analytical, an unaffiliated peptide testing laboratory based in the Czech Republic. HPLC analysis consistently reports purity exceeding 99% across our batches.

Where a Certificate of Analysis (COA) has been issued for the current production batch, a printed copy is included with your order. If a printed certificate is not yet available, the corresponding batch verification can be accessed on our Purity page.

Each COA contains a unique verification code that can be validated directly through Janoshik’s online verification portal, providing independent confirmation of the results. We also publish a guide explaining how to interpret Janoshik HPLC reports.

💧 Reconstituting BAC Water and Lyophilised Powder

Follow these four simple steps:

  1. Clean the vial stopper using one of the supplied alcohol wipes and allow it to dry completely.
  2. Draw 2 mL of bacteriostatic water into an insulin syringe.
  3. Slowly inject the diluent down the inside wall of the peptide vial rather than directly onto the powder.
  4. Gently swirl until the powder has completely dissolved. Do not shake. Refrigerate immediately after reconstitution.

The quick-reference reconstitution guide printed inside the box lid can be used whenever you prepare future vials.

💉 Using the Pen

Attach a New Needle

Clean the pen tip using an alcohol wipe before securely attaching a fresh sterile needle.

Prime the Pen

Turn the dose selector one click, point the pen upwards and press the injection button. A small droplet appearing at the needle tip confirms the pen has been primed and any trapped air has been removed.

Select Your Research Dose

Each click delivers a fixed increment depending on the pen calibration, typically between 0.5 mg and 1 mg. The dose window displays the total selected dose.

For example, a 6 mg research dose generally corresponds to approximately 6–12 clicks.

Administration

Published research protocols commonly describe subcutaneous administration into the abdomen, thigh or upper arm. Hold the pen in position for approximately six seconds before withdrawing.

Dispose of the used needle safely, replace the cap and return the pen to refrigerated storage.

Each pen provides the number of doses shown in the protocol guide for your selected strength. When empty, simply replace the cartridge while continuing to use the same pen body. Current refill pricing is available using the calculator above.

🎯 Which Research Dose Should I Follow?

The simplest approach is to follow the protocol guide shown above. Published research involving CJC-1295 (with DAC) generally follows a gradual dose-escalation (titration) schedule, beginning with the lowest phase before increasing at predefined intervals. The highlighted maintenance phase reflects the schedule commonly adopted in longer-term published studies.

If you are beginning work with this compound, start with Phase 1 and complete the entire phase before progressing. Following the published titration schedule mirrors the methodology used during clinical investigation.

Researchers already familiar with CJC-1295 (with DAC) can select the appropriate protocol phase to view expected product duration and estimated cost based on the selected vial or pen size.

If your laboratory follows a customised research protocol, contact us before ordering and we’ll help identify the most suitable product size for your study schedule.

Research Profile

  • Long-acting GHRH analogue
  • Drug Affinity Complex (DAC) modification
  • Albumin-binding design
  • Independently HPLC-tested
  • Research use only

CJC-1295 (with DAC) is a synthetic analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) incorporating a Drug Affinity Complex (DAC). The maleimide-linked DAC modification enables binding to serum albumin, resulting in an extended circulating half-life as described in published research. It is supplied as a lyophilised powder intended exclusively for in-vitro laboratory research.

The description above reflects published scientific literature and should not be interpreted as a claim regarding effects in humans.

Laboratory Handling

CJC-1295 (with DAC) is supplied as a freeze-dried powder in a sealed glass vial.

For laboratory preparation:

  • Slowly add the required volume of bacteriostatic water down the inside wall of the vial.
  • Avoid directing the liquid onto the peptide powder.
  • Gently swirl until completely dissolved.
  • Do not shake or vortex.
  • Refrigerate the prepared solution at 2–8°C.
  • Use within approximately 30 days, unless your laboratory protocol specifies otherwise.

A Reconstitution Volume Calculator can be used to determine the resulting concentration (mg/mL).

State Storage Temperature Typical Shelf Life
Lyophilised 2–8°C or −20°C Up to 24 months
Reconstituted 2–8°C Up to 30 days

Purity & Verification

Every batch of CJC-1295 (with DAC) supplied by us is independently analysed using HPLC by Janoshik Analytical. Where available, a Certificate of Analysis accompanies each order and includes a unique verification code that can be authenticated directly through Janoshik’s verification system. Reported purity consistently exceeds 99%.
